You can set up your interview by calling 202-885-6000 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m EST. Please schedule all interviews at least four weeks in advance. There are a limited number of appointments available each day and requests are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Interviews are offered:
Monday through Friday -- 9:15 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m
Select Saturdays -- 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12:30 p.m.

Interviews are offered for your convenience only; they are nonevaluative and informational in scope. An interview provides you with an opportunity to learn more about AU and the application process. Your admission status will not be affected by an interview.

Please note: Only high school seniors and transfer students may request interviews in the fall; only high school juniors and transfers may request interviews in the spring. In February, only transfer students may request an interview. No interviews will be offered in April.

Arboretum

The AU campus is a designated arboretum and public garden. The 84 acre campus has a rich botanical history, and its many green spaces provide a place not only to gather, but to learn: art students often take inspiration from the landscape, and students at the School of International Service practice their geographic information sklls (GIS) by mapping the trees. Plaques will denote the common and botanical names of each tree, as well as their place of origin.

Opportunities exist to provide ongoing support for AU’s Arboretum, and to name small spaces, benches, and living features.
